Behind The Work
Midwest Surfer was founded by a family of creatives with a long history of professional collaboration. With 25+ years of experience, we’ve been on all sides of the table: in-house, on set, with clients, and alongside all kinds of creative teams. Mostly, we just like making things together. Artists first, we aim for work that is collaborative, colorful, and approachable.
Bring us the project you care about most. We’ll figure out what it needs.
Maybe it’s a product launch, a brand redesign, or a new campaign. We’ll keep things intentionally small, building the team around the work instead of forcing the work into a set structure. That might mean just a few of us, or it might mean bringing in the right collaborators from our wider creative network.
Our goal is to stay close to the work, keep the process flexible, and give each project the attention it deserves.
We work across brand, creative direction, campaigns, film, new media, and experiential projects, typically on work that is launching, evolving, or asking for a bit more.
Depending on where the project starts, we’ll shape the idea, develop the creative, make the work, or all of the above with the help of our team of creatives.
